From 24 March to 11 April 2025, John Morris Group successfully hosted a three-week MTS vendor visit, led by Dr Isaac, Asia Pacific Manager at MTS Systems. The visit spanned two countries, two leading engineering conferences, and over 30 customer site visits—reinforcing our commitment to advancing structural, civil, and aerospace engineering across Australia and New Zealand.
Supporting Innovation at Every Step
The tour kicked off with the AIAC Aerospace Conference in Melbourne, where Dr Isaac engaged with aerospace researchers and industry experts to discuss cutting-edge testing solutions for materials and flight structures. This was followed by our participation at the NZSEE Earthquake Engineering Conference in Auckland, where seismic testing technologies took centre stage.
Throughout the visit, John Morris Group facilitated hands-on discussions between MTS and research institutions, showcasing how MTS testing systems support high-performance material testing, structural simulations, and dynamic load measurements.
30+ Technical Engagements Across Australia & New Zealand
The vendor visit included over 30 face-to-face meetings with universities, research institutes, and engineering labs. These visits allowed technical teams to explore real-world applications of MTS systems in:
- Civil Engineering and Structural Testing
- Mechanical and Aerospace Research
- Forestry Material Analysis
- Seismic and Fatigue Testing
Our final stop was at the University of Canterbury, where MTS systems are actively used for seismic structure testing in the Civil and Structures Lab, as well as steel beam testing in the Forestry Department. It was a great moment to see MTS solutions delivering measurable value to end users in the field.
Thank You to Our Territory Managers
A special note of appreciation to our dedicated Territory Managers in Australia and New Zealand for their outstanding coordination. Their efforts ensured every meeting, demo, and discussion was both productive and meaningful.
