This model is used for the representation of mechanical stresses under tensile load. The model is available as an accessory for FL 200 Photoelastic experiments with a transmission polariscope.
The model is made from polycarbonate, which is available in plate form. A carefully manufactured model plate can be used practically an unlimited number of times for qualitative demonstration purposes if handled properly.
In addition to the model the scope of delivery includes accessories for installation. The model can be attached quickly within the frame of FL 200.
