With this universal dynamometer, either tensile or compressive forces, according to the direction of mounting, can be measured without alteration. Each instrument is calibrated individually. The calibration values (10 determined values for both tension and compression) are given in a calibration table.
The dynamometer is available as an accessory for FL 200 Photoelastic experiments with a transmission polariscope.
